    One word: Discipline

    You can read up on the best way and methods to lose weight, best diet and build muscle.

    But if you don't have discipline you won't be able to use what you learn.

    It doesn't really matter what diet or exercise program you do.

    As long as you can be consistent and disciplined, you'll make progress.

    It's hard at first, you don't feel like doing it, you're tired, you're hungry. But if you can develop your willpower and discipline yourself, you can make healthy habits.

    If you want a good resource, read Lyle McDonald work on his site, bodyrecomposition. He has lot of great stuff on ketogenic diets.

    What helps me is to try and eat healthy. 

    I don't eat fast food and snack as much. 

    I try to eat things like cottage cheese, yogurt, chicken breast and broccoli.

    This usually helps.

    You gotta hit the gym. Go 5 times a week. 

    Lift weights and do cardio. Spend about an hour a day working out.

    Do this and in 6 months you should be a lot better off.

    You need to eat healthy. Eat mostly salads with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Don’t use fatty dressings. 

    Also you need to eat with portion control.
